Bosla Arts has invited walking artist Alisa Oleva to host a series of collective walks - Walking towards you. Each walk invites us to explore the way we connect - to each other, to the streets, to the place where we are now and to the places that we carry with us as we move throughout our lives.
In this walk we will specifically focus on walking and writing. How can the city become an inspiration for writing? How can we write from and together with the streets? What messages is the city trying to tell us and what words do we want to add to it?
Each walk takes a new angle to explore, ranging from sounds to textures, from distance to proximity, from traces to echoes, from friendships to strangers.
Throughout the walks Alisa offers various walking scores and instructions that will guide the way we move and explore the public space together, questioning how we can choose to connect to the city and its streets and how the city touches and moves us.
There is no need to bring anything, but try to travel light and dress accordingly as the walk will proceed in any weather.
