Open Mic Night - in solidarity with Palestine

  • House of Annetta 25 Princelet Street London, England, E1 6QH United Kingdom (map)

Within the exhibition That Joke Isn’t Funny Anymore, let’s gather and join our voices. This open mic night invites you to reinterpret words, sounds, and thoughts as an elegy for global numbness, in an age of permanent crisis.

Bring a song to recite, a poem, a piece of spoken word, a song lyric, or anything you feel like sharing, or simply come to listen.

The open mic is part of That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore, a three-day exhibition and series of events exploring the themes of progress and development in a collapsing world. By Bosla Arts' artist-in-residence, Rand Hamdallah, created in partnership with online artist-in-residence, Shahd Itbakhi.

Through zines, live performances, workshops, and shared food, the exhibition asks: Are They Lying to Us? Of course they are.

Generously supported by The Reva and David Logan Foundation.
